The Warrior Invitational provides exciting cross-country racing on grass, dirt, gravel, and asphalt. The trail passes through wooded areas and across practice fields and playgrounds and features a thrilling finish in the stadium. Since the course features a repeated loop, spectators can see their racers several times from a seat in the stadium bleachers or move from place to place.

Race Day Setup: Tents may gather in the tent zones by bleachers. We will have porta potties located by the concessions, as well as bathrooms.

Junior high runners must be 7th - 9th graders. Sixth graders are not allowed to run. The top 2 teams in each division, girls and boys, will receive a trophy. You must have at least 5 runners to compete for team points. Schools participating must be members of their state's athletic association.

This year, we are excited to announce that our Junior High 2 mile course is included in the North Alabama JH Gold Circuit. This may help potentially lead your JH runners to qualify for the 2026 North Alabama Gold Championship 2-mile (7th-9th graders). This end of the year championship race is hosted by Huntsville High School, and it is a great way for Junior High runners to strengthen and prepare for their high school running years!
